Prebirth and rebirth in astrology
Astrology not only has solutions to the direct and burning problems of human life, it also has the ability to solve the mysterious puzzles before and after life. This article will prove useful in exploring this unknown aspect of the soul and looking at its consequences.
Indian astrology and society completely believes in the theory of reincarnation. It is believed that we get this birth only on the basis of the deeds done in our previous births and only on the basis of the deeds done in this birth, we get the next birth i.e. rebirth.
It is said in Mahabharata that just as a calf recognizes its mother even in a herd of hundreds of cows, similarly the deeds done in the previous birth recognize their doer and reach him. What were we in our previous life? The answer to what will happen in the next life can be known on the basis of planetary position in the horoscope.
In our astrological scriptures, Parashar ji has written in “Brihat Parashar Hora Shastra” that the planet which is stronger than Sun and Moon in the birth chart should be seen in Dreshkana to find out in which zodiac sign it has gone, the lord of that zodiac sign is the husband. On the basis of this, it can be known from which world the person has come to earth. If the malefic planet is in the dekshakana of Sun or Mars, then the person is from “Earth world” (death world), if Jupiter is in the deshkron, then it is from “Devlok”. If Mercury is aspected by Saturn, then it should be believed that the person has come from “hell world” in this birth.
Varahamihir writes in “Brihatjatak” that by looking at the position of Dreshkana Pati of Bali planet, the place etc. of the previous world of the person can also be known. If Deshkran Pati is in a high sign then the person must have got a high position, if it is in a low sign then the person must have got a low position, this should be understood.
Previous births can also be known from the fifth house of the horoscope, Panchamesh, the zodiac sign located in the fifth house. In the presented table, on the basis of the fifth house, the residence, direction and caste of the person in his previous birth can be known. Mantreshwar has also written in his book Phal Deepika in the fourteenth chapter about the condition and yoni of the person in his previous birth.
If the ninth lord is in the exalted and own sign of the ascendant, then the person is a human being in his previous birth, if the ninth lord is in the same sign as the ascendant, then he is an animal and if it is in the inferior sign, then he is a bird. Our scholars have written a lot in many texts about the destination after death as per the horoscope and the horoscope at the time of death, the main ones of which are as follows.
Parashar ji writes that if Jupiter is in the 6th, 7th or 8th house from the ascendant, then the person attains the world of gods, if there is Venus-Moon, then he attains the world of ancestors, if there is Sun-Mars, then he attains the world of death and if there is Mercury-Saturn, then he attains hell after death. If there is no planet in the 6th, 7th and 8th house, then whoever is stronger in the Dreshkan Pati of the 6th and 8th house goes to that world according to that planet.
In the book named ‘Jatak Parijat’, Shri Vaidyanath ji has said about the world that the person will get according to the ascendant at the time of death. At the time of death, if Jupiter is in the ascendant then it is called “Devlok”, if Sun-Mars are there then it is called “Mrityalok”, if Moon-Venus is there then it is called “Pitra Loka” and if Mercury-Saturn is there then it is called “Hell World”.
Mantreshwar writes in ‘Phaldeepika’ that the twelfth house and the twelfth house also give information about a person’s attainment of “world” after death. If there is Sun and Moon in the twelfth house, then Kailash, if Venus, then heaven, if Mars, then Earth, if Mercury, then Vaikuntha, if Saturn, then Yamloka, if Jupiter, then Brahmaloka, if Rahu, then other countries, and if Ketu, then the person will be placed in hell.
In this way it can be seen from which world the person came and to which world he will go. But many controversies have also been found in this matter. Since proof cannot be known, we have to believe only in these things written in the scriptures.
In some other scriptures the following things have been said about heaven, hell and attaining salvation. Chances of attaining heaven: It is said in ‘Sarvartha Chintamani’ that if the planet Jupiter is in the twelfth house being the tenth lord and an auspicious planet is aspecting it, then the person attains heaven after death.
